2023/24 Taipans Season Memberships can be purchased online or in person at Taipans HQ, 127 Anderson St, Cairns.

Membership Payment Methods

Taipans Membership Deposit Scheme

If you choose to pay your membership using the Deposit Scheme, a payment of 20% is required to be paid in-store at Taipans HQ. Remaining payments can be made to Taipans HQ at any time, but your membership MUST BE PAID IN FULL by 17 September 2023. This option is not available online and if full payment is not received by the due date, your membership will be put on hold and access to games will not be permitted until payment is received.

Taipans Membership Instalment Plan

If you choose to pay your membership on the Instalment Plan, the first payment of 20% will be taken when your membership is processed. The remaining balance will be split into eight monthly instalments beginning 17 March and finishing 17 September. If you sign up after 17 March, any missed instalments will be charged along with the initial payment. If any instalments are delayed or missed, your membership may be put on hold and access to games will not be permitted until payment is caught back up.

How can I purchase a Taipans Membership for the upcoming season?
Renewing members will be able to renew their current seats for the upcoming season via their MyTickets account during our Early Bird period. Once the Early Bird Period ends, members who have not renewed will have their seats released.
New members can purchase memberships during and after the Early Bird period via www.taipans.com or by calling 07 4041 3000 or in person at Taipans HQ, 127 Anderson Street, Cairns.
What payment options are available to pay for my Membership?
We have several payment options available for members, including in full, the 20% deposit scheme, or monthly instalments. Members need to be up to date with their payments, so they don’t risk their membership being put on hold with no access to games.

How can I change my current seats for the upcoming season?
Renewing members can look to change or upgrade their seats during the Early Bird period. If a seating option is not available at the time of renewal, members can go on a waitlist and if that seat becomes available, they will be notified after the Early Bird period.
Members will have up until the 3rd home game of that current season to change seats if they are unhappy after the first home game.
What is the Early Bird Period?
Renewing and new members can purchase a membership during this period at a special discounted price.
During the Early Bird period renewing members will need to renew to ensure they will be able to keep their current seats. After the cut-off date, seats will be released if not renewed.
When will I receive my membership pack?
Membership packs will be ready for collection 1-2 weeks prior to the first home game. Packs can either be collected at our Members Day or at Taipans HQ. Communication will be sent via email once the packs are ready for collection.
If a member requires their pack to be posted they will need to contact us and additional costs will be added.
I have lost my membership card how do I get a replacement?
If you have lost or damaged your member’s card you can either get a replacement card printed, ask for a paper-printed version to be sent via email, or access your digital ticket via your MyTickets account. A fee will apply if you require a fiscal card to be reprinted.
If something happens to your card on game day and you can’t access your digital version, please see the Taipans staff at the ticketing desk.
How can I access my e-tickets online?
To access your e-ticket you will need to log into your MyTickets account. To log in, use your registered email address and then your password. If you have forgotten your password, you will need to reset it via the link when you log in.

If I am unable to attend a home game can someone else use my membership?
Taipans memberships are transferable, and you can forward your tickets to family or friends via your MyTickets account online or using your membership cards.
Please be advised, memberships or individual game tickets cannot be on-sold. There is legislation in relation to the resale of tickets at the Cairns Convention Centre, and breach of these laws may attract criminal penalties.
Does my Membership include finals games?
Memberships do not include Finals ticketing as part of the season membership fee already paid.
Members will have the 1st priority ahead of the public to purchase Finals tickets held in Cairns and administrated by the Cairns Taipans.
Will I receive a refund if I decide to cancel my membership?
Cairns Taipans are under no obligation to agree to a refund, subject to the provisions of the Australian Consumer Law. Requests can be made and will be reviewed by Cairns Taipans management and if approved a 20% non-refundable amount will be held from the total cost of your membership.
How can I update my contact and credit card details?
Members can update their details online via their MyProvenue account by logging in with their registered email and password. Alternatively, contact Taipans HQ on 07 4041 3000 or email membership@taipans.com
